Baruch Rofeh Cholim: Firebomb Victim Shapira Thanks Am Yisrael in Person

“Thank you for thinking of me” are the words spoken by terror victim 11-year-old Ayalah Shapira. YWN-ISRAEL reported that she awakened about two weeks ago. Although she was badly burned in a firebomb terror attack, Ayalah bas Rus Shapira is now speaking B’chasdei Hashem.

Ayalah emailed “It gives me such a special feeling. I do not have the words to express it”.

The young terror victim was placed into a medically induced coma upon her arrival at the Sheba Medical Center at Tel Hashomer. She was on a respirator after sustained burns over 50% of her body.

Magen David Adom paramedic Itai Tillinger reported “the attack was near the entrance to their community. A woman presented us with an 11-year-old child who was in excruciating pain but conscious. She had burns over 50% of her body. We immediately began the appropriate treatment which included a tranquilizer and assisted respirations as her condition was quite serious. She was listed in serious condition at the time of transport. A second patient, her dad, was transported with burns to his extremities and was listed in light condition”.
