Terrorist in Stabbing Attack ‘Hates Religious Jews’

t11The terrorist who perpetrated the stabbing attack near Jerusalem City Hall a number of weeks ago is in custody. The 17-year-old Arab terrorist explained to authorities that he hates religious Jews. He was brought before a remand hearing at the Jerusalem Magistrate Court on Wednesday, 20 Adar.

Avreich R� Avrohom Goldschmidt, a resident of Yerushalayim, was wounded in that attack. Mayor Nir Barkat�s vehicle was passing by as the attack occurred and the mayor and his security team ran out and intervened, restraining the terrorist, a resident of Birzeit near Ramallah.

He told investigators on the same day of the attack he also traveled to Shar Shechem (Damascus Gate) to the Old City to stab a Jew. He admitted that he also takes part in rock-throwing and firebomb attacks against IDF forces in Birzeit.
