After Hours of Searching, Betar Illit Female Found Safe And Sound


mishPolice on Wednesday night the eve of 25 Iyar received a call from the parents of a 21-year-old female resident of Betar Illit, reporting she has been missing for a number of hours. The parents explained this was most uncharacteristic for their daughter who they described as “normative”.

It was further explained the young lady is employed in Beit Shemesh and her phone rings but no one has responded for hours. Police were dispatched to the Givat Shaul area of Yerushalayim where the young lady studies after work. People familiar with her told police they had not seen her during the day.

Police contacted her employer in Beit Shemesh, reporting he left work at 18:00 leaving the young lady behind, alone in the office. Police were able to track her cell phone to the Beit Shemesh. At 04:00 police discovered the young lady locked out on the balcony of her workplace without her cell phone, which was inside the office. Baruch Hashem she was unharmed.
