Police have yet to officially declare the beating death of farmer David Bar, 70, of a moshav near Rehovot an act of terrorism, but there is no dispute that a number of PA (Palestinian Authority) residents beat him into a coma, of which he died a number of hours later.
David HY”D was beaten severely with a blunt object in his field in Moshav Pedaya. He was in critical condition when paramedics arrived on the scene. He was transported to Assaf HaRofeh Hospital where he died of his massive injuries a number of hours later on Wednesday, 7 Tammuz. Police report “the motive for the attack is unclear at this time” as the manhunt for the murderers continues.
The victim’s son is the spokesman for the Ministry of Religious Services and the Chief Rabbinate of Israel. Levaya details to be announced.
