According to a Channel 2 News report, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu in recent months underwent medical procedures in Bnei Brak’s Mayanei HaYeshua Hospital under the cover of darkness. This refers to a time period prior to elections for 20th Knesset and a second case following elections as the coalition was being formed. The procedures were not publicized, and the prime minister arrived in different vehicles to hide his presence from the media.

In the first case Mr. Netanyahu arrived in a vehicle delivering pita breads to the hospital and in the second case, a vehicle belonging to an exterminator. His security guards were dressed as exterminators.

Drs. Gat and Goren, physicians at Mayanei HaYeshua performed the medical procedures. Mr. Netanyahu was under a local anesthetic explains the prime minister’s private physician, Dr. Berkowitz. He adds the prime minister was alert at all times and was never under the influence of anesthesia. Dr. Berkowitz adds details of the procedures were included in the recent official medical report on the prime minister, who he explains remains in good health.
