Yisrael Beitenu opposition party leader MK Avigdor Lieberman, who served as foreign minister in the last government, accuses Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu of destroying the Foreign Ministry in the latter’s capacity as acting foreign minister. Lieberman said Mr. Netanyahu’s actions are a “pogrom” in the Foreign Ministry.

Using Facebook to get his message out, Lieberman states “There is no need to expound regarding the pogrom done against the Foreign Minister in the past months. One process after another that have compromised the integrity and functioning of the ministry, leaving it powerless and without influence”.

Lieberman explains the “pogrom” is not just a problem for Foreign Ministry employees, but it compromises Israel’s national security and compromises Israel’s ability to defend itself in the international arena.
