Minister Danny Danon of Likud has been appointed as Israels Ambassador to the United Nations. Danon replaces Ambassador Ron Prosor.
In his media release Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu cited the importance of the appointment and that Danon is well suited for the challenging post, representing Israel in the international forum.
It is likely that Dr. Benny Begin will receive Danons slot in Knesset.
