10 Jewish Right-Wingers Served with Administration Orders

idfTen residents of outposts throughout Yehuda and Shomron have been served with administrative orders restricting their movements. The government continues to serve right-wingers perceived as a security threat with such orders in addition to some whom are being incarcerated without being charged with any law-breaking activities. Imprisoned by the government are Meir Ettinger, Evyatar Slonim, and Mordechai Meir.

Speaking to Kol Chai Radio on Sunday, 8 Elul, Honenu attorney Itamar Ben-Givir called Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon’s actions “like a bull in a china shop”. Ya’alon signed off on all of the administrative orders, those limiting the activities of recipients as well as those who are incarcerated. The latest ten recipients are barred from entering Yehuda and Shomron for a period of ten months.

Officials in the ISA (Israel Security Agency – Shin Bet) explain the orders were administered against the ten in response to recent acts of terror, some fatal.

Ben-Givir also told the media that it is amazing that while a terrorist in detention launches a hunger strike and is released, Jews are arrested without cause as police and the ISA lack any evidence against any of those served with administrative orders. He added that he believes some of these youths will launch a hunger strike too and he is waiting to see if they too will be released as was the case with Muhmad Alaan.
