Finance Minister Kahlon is Willing to Step Aside


kahSpeaking to Yediot Achronot in an interview that will be published in its entirely on erev Yom Kippur, Kulanu party leader Finance Minister Moshe Kahlon stated he is willing to step aside to permit opposition leader Yitzchak Herzog to enter the coalition. Apparently a man of his word, Kahlon, who during elections spoke of creating a broad a coalition as possible, now states he is willing to step down from his senior cabinet post towards actualizing such a reality.

  1. Brilliant. The world’s economy is tanking (the US is doing well, the rest of the world, not very well). Israel is part of the rest of the world. The last thing he wants is to be an “economic” minister when the economy goes belly up.
