VIDEO: MDA And Judo Association Offer First Aid And Self Defense Lectures

5Magen David Adom in conjunction with the Israel Judo Association announces free first aid and judo self-defense classes on 22 and 23 Cheshvan in participating MDA stations around the country. MDA also proudly announces 10,000 downloads of its new smartphone first aid app in October 2015.

In response to the wave of terror attack, MDA thanks the judo association for stepping forward in an effort to empower more Israelis to better defend themselves.

The courses will include a very basic first aid class which concentrates on treating stab wounds and gunshot injuries. CEO of the judo association, Sagi Gur responded positively to MDA’s request and it is providing qualified persons to teach basic self-defense tactics. While there is no charge for the classes, advanced registration is required.

In addition to the classes, MDA is calling on people to download the smartphone app free of charge. To date there have been over 114,000 downloads.
