Greenfield Outraged by Vicious Robbery On Avenue M in Midwood – Offers $1,000 Reward

rCouncilman David G. Greenfield is outraged and disgusted by the brutal robbery of a 55 year-old Jewish man on Avenue M and East 8th Street in Midwood. The victim was beaten and robbed early Monday morning around 12:50am. He was punched, thrown to the ground and robbed by two criminals in hoodies. The victim is in stable condition at Maimonides.

“This is a shockingly brutal robbery in the heart of our Midwood community. It is heartbreaking that, especially during the holiday season, outrageous crimes like this are happening in our very own backyard. We can’t tolerate these kinds of crimes in New York City. My many thanks to Hatzalah and Shomrim who responded immediately to the victim’s call. If you know anything about this crime please call 1-800-577-TIPS,” said Councilman Greenfield.

Councilman Greenfield is offering a $1,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the two perpetrators of this horrendous crime.

  1. When politicians offer these types of rewards, does it come out of their own pockets or is there some kind of fund that they can dip in to?

  2. Frumguy? What a question!! Is that your main concern. Shocking!
A person gets beaten up by some thugs , and where the money comes from is your issue?. I’m Probably mistaken , what you really meant is you want to help with some funds . I will get you the emails of the politicians so you can send them your contribution.

How much do you charge for lawyers fees?
Since my name won’t be published, I can tell what I do for the public :
I raised and married three Yesomim in my House for 17 yrs
I spent every shabbos in the afternoon in the nursing home
for the last 21 years . And a handful of needy people eat my house every shabbos , until I had cancer and was in a coma for three months living on a respirator ,+ I just had a kidney transplant. and I’m still active to an extent in helping others .

WHAT DO YOU DO FOR MANKIND?
