A Look at the Weather in Israel for the Coming Days


kosAccording to the AccuWeather forecast, temperatures in Jerusalem on Wednesday 10 Shevat will reach a high of 50F (10C), but it will feel closer to 58F (14.5C). There is a 55% chance of showers. Thursday’s outlook is for about the same temperature without a threat of rain as is the case for erev Shabbos.

According to meteorologist Nachum Malik’s report on Kol Chai Radio, a change is expected on Shabbos. The high for Shabbos is not expected to exceed 50F and it will feel like 48F (8.5C) and there will be a 51% chance of rainfall in areas including Jerusalem.

Malik explains temperatures will continue dropping towards nightfall with a low on motzei Shabbos of 39F (3.8C) and Sunday, the high will be 44F (6.5C). there is a chance of snowfall in mountainous areas beginning on Sunday evening as temperatures continue to drop and there is a 72% chance of precipitation. Malik explains that temperatures will continue to fall close to freezing and depending on wind and other factors, the precipitation may be in the form of snow, not rain. Temperatures on Tuesday and Wednesday night are also expected to be closer to freezing and precipitation is expected as well.

At present, there are no predictions of accumulations.
