Intriguing Revolutionary Concept

All men have gone through it, multiple times in their lives: Running to retail stores, trying on suit after suit, and then being forced to settle for one or two, even though they are not crazy over the fit or style. That’s why I’m excited to share a revolutionary new concept I’ve stumbled across.

At first glance, this “concept” appears to be a highend, exclusive, menswear boutique. Yet first glances can be deceiving. Be prepared to have all of your preconceived notions on purchasing suits chucked out the window.

After crossing Fino Custom Clothiers spanking threshold on 116 Hillside blvd Lakewood NJ, and our new location in Passaic NJ at 223 Main Ave. Get ready to have your mind challenged on all that you know regarding purchasing that perfect suit.

A candid and frank conversation with the owner of Fino, Mr. Azer, will reveal a man burning with a passion for making each man look, and feel, like a million.

Eric: What triggered you to open Fino Custom Clothiers?

Mr. A: Establishing Fino Custom Clothiers is the natural progression of our established tailorshops in the New Jersey area.

Eric: Why is that?

Mr. A: Many customers at our tailorshops were a neverending stream of men with suits that simply did not fit properly from the getgo. Of course we did our best to help them out, but it was more like damage control.

Eric: What do you mean by “damage control”?

Mr. A: Really, if the armholes are too large or too small, jacket too long or too short, shoulders too wide or too narrow, then even with the most complex tailoring, the best we could accomplish was altering and fixing a garment that was a poorfit to begin with. In 2016, spending all that money on a brandnew suit that doesn’t fit right, just doesn’t make any sense.

Eric: So one fine day your wife said: “Chicken’s for dinner” and you said: “That’s nice, I’m opening a customsuit boutique tomorrow”?

Mr. A: (laughs) Not quite. We expended much time, effort and resources on learning the latest, mostinnovative manner of offering custommade suits to the general public at affordable pricing.

Eric: Seriously, custommade suits are not anything new. What is so unique about Fino Custom Clothiers?

Mr. A: Low stickerprice with absolutely no compromising on quality. Until now, custom-made suits were only attainable for the wealthy. With our affordable pricing, a custom-made suit is within reach of the average consumer. This is actually a growing trend across many sectors:

Lower prices + greater sales volume = Happy Consumers + Profitable Business. A winwin for all.

Eric: Makes sense. But back to the actual suit purchasing experience, how does it work in real time?

Mr. A: All prospective clients are invited to enter Fino’s stateofthe art, bodyscanning booth. Within three seconds, multiple bodymeasurements and a 3D body module are extracted. This allows our designers to customize the garment to each client’s unique measurements, build and posture.

Then the fun really starts. Our stylists lead each client through choices of hundreds of materials and styles.

Eric: But let’s say I’m not sure what I want, even if I get advice from a guy with a PhD in fashion – then what?

Mr. A: No sweat. We maintain a substantial selection of completed suits to tryon, to give guys like you a clearer idea of which style or material they’ll love. Every client is different. Some know exactly what they want and some are clueless. And we totally get that.

Eric: What happens after body measurements are taken and Fino’s stylist has guided the client through the garment and fit choices?

Mr. A: That’s all folks. The client is done and can go back to work, drink a coffee or take out the garbage. Seriously, the order is finalized, and the client can expect to hear from us within three weeks. Client then returns for the handson fitting, where our professional tailors ensure that each suit is tapered to perfection.

Eric: Three weeks? Not bad at all for a custom suit, although it does force one to be a bit organized in ordering should they need it for a specific, upcoming occasion.

Mr. A: (Concedes) Yes, a bit of foresight is always recommended.

Eric: And after that final fitting, that’s it?

Mr. A: That’s all. Client goes home with his Fino suit, thrilled. We make sure of that.

We retain each client’s measurements on file for any future purchases, so he does not even need to step into our shop if he’d like to reorder.

Eric: Thank you for your time Mr. A., you gave me much to think about.

Mr. A: The pleasure is mine.

Well, I’m definitely intrigued. I have a hunch that in the coming months, the standard way that men shop for suits is going to change. Radically change.
