Israel Police And Prison Authority Officers Receive a Raise


mishOfficers serving in Israel Police and the Israel Prison Authority will be given an average raise of NIS 1,500 monthly.

Public Security Minister Gilad Erdan announced that since assuming his cabinet post he has been working to improve conditions for members of the forces.

According to the new salary model, the average officer will receive a NIS 1,500 monthly raise (30-50%). This includes patrol units, detectives, investigators, and other posts. The raise take effect beginning April 1, 2016.
