An earthquake was felt in Eilat and the center of the country during the predawn hours on Monday, 8 Iyar. The earthquake measured 4.8 on the Richter Scale and its center was 70 kilometers south of Eilat, in the Sinai area.
There were no reports of injuries or damage resulting from the quake.

Does this have anything to do with the arrest in Eilat of that heilege yeshiva bochur for draft evasion several weeks ago?? Perhaps this is the Ebeshter’s way of telling us to let him drink and party without being held accountable.
