PHOTOS: Fire Destroys Building At Stolin Camp In Highland, NY

A fire destroyed a building at a summer camp in Highland Monday.

A second-alarm fire was reported at Camp Karlin Stolin, 775 North Chodikee Lake Road, around 5:30 p.m., according to Town of Lloyd Police.

Fire departments from Highland, Clintondale, Esopus, Milton, New Paltz responded to the scene. Mobile Life Support was also called to the scene.

  1. To me it seems like what we referred to as the masmidim beis medrash in Camp Torah Vodaas. That would be a shame because there is so much torah & kedusha absorbed in those walls. Gam zu ltova

  2. actually it was the building to the left of it. it was used as shiur rooms for a while but then converted dormitory.
