Pindrus’ First Field Visit Is The Muslim Quarter Of Jerusalem’s Old City


1On his first morning as a deputy mayor, Jerusalem Deputy Mayor Yitzchak Pindrus on Sunday 14 Iyar visited the Old City’s so-called Muslim Quarter. The trip included a chanukas habayis at a new Jewish home near Shar HaPerachim.

Accompanying Pindrus were a number of his staff as well as MK (Bayit Yehudi) Shuli Muallem, Deputy Mayor (Bayit Yehudi) Dov Kalmanovich, and Councilman Aryeh King.

During the heavily-guarded visit Pindrus stated how appropriate it was in his new post to visit and take part in the mitzvah of yishuv Eretz Yisrael, particularly in Yerushalayim.

Pindrus promised that as a deputy mayor and member of the planning board, he will do his utmost to facilitate building permits in all areas of the city.
