The Ministry of Health Jerusalem District food service bactochem laboratory together with Aroma Israel announced there is a fear of the presence of listeria monocytogenes in Aromas coconut ice drink manufactured on August 8, 2016. A team was dispatched to the factoryon Monday, 25 Menachem Av and samples were taken for laboratory testing.
Aroma informed the ministry that it has stopped shipping the questionable product and the product is banned temporarily from all Aroma branches nationwide.
Cleaning and disinfecting have begun at the factory in line with ministry directives.
