A 10-year-old girl who was stabbed by her father is recuperating in Shaare Zedek Hospital in Jerusalem, is reported to be in moderate/stable condition. The girl underwent surgery during the night of 25 Menachem Av (Sunday to Monday) after arriving in moderate-to-serious condition after being wounded, transported by MDA paramedics.

Authorities report her 39-year-old dad was having a psychotic episode when he stabbed her with scissors a number of times in her upper torso. The victim�s mother told police her husband has been �seeing God� since Thursday and is in need of psychiatric assistance.
