Former President Shimon Peres underwent local anesthesia at Tel Hashomer Hospital on Monday, 2 Elul to permit inserting a pacemaker. The former President, 93, is reportedly in good health and is expected to be released on Tuesday.
It is explained that Mr. Peres� physicians have suggested the pacemakers to avoid cardiac arrhythmias and thereby facilitate Mr. Peres continuing with his daily routine.
