Bus Vandalized By Sikrikim In Beit Shemesh


1Sikrikim in Beit Shemesh on Monday, 9 Elul, vandalized a bus for no apparent reason. The incident occurred when the bus stopped in a chareidi area and a number of the sikrikim surrounded the vehicle to prevent the driver from pulling out. One of them used a hammer to smash a number of windows.

Police report that B”H there are no injuries in the incident. The vandals succeeded in fleeing the scene before police could apprehend them.

The motive for this latest act of vandalism remains a mystery.

  1. these are ‘religious’ people? They can do vandalism and still feel that they are holy?

    What kind of sick society permits such hoodlums to run amuck and yet not rebuke them?

  2. Lukshun; Why do you assume they are not rebuked? Why do you assume hooligans would listen to the rebuke? What’s with you, just because an incident happened means that society is sick and “allows” it to happen. It’s like saying what type of a sick society allows police to shoot black motorists?

  3. Why aren’t the Eged drivers armed and instructed to use lethal force if their vehicles are attacked? If they are dressed like arabs, as no.4 says, they could have been terrorists and should be treated as such.
