A child is lucky to be alive after being struck by a truck in Boro Park, Thursday morning.
The incident happened on 15 Avenue and 43 Street. Despite having not been wearing a helmet, Bichasdei Hashem, the child suffered minor injuries.
As can be seen in the attached photo, the child was nearly pinned under the trucks tires.
On Wednesday morning�YWN published an urgent Tehillim request for a young child who was in critical condition after he was struck while riding his bike to Yeshiva.
That child WAS wearing a helmet which was shattered into pieces from the impact.�(See photo below)

PLEASE MAKE SURE YOU AND YOURE CHILDREN ALWAYS USE A HELMET WHEN RIDING A BIKE!

Perhaps just a bit insensitive to Moshe Yehudah’s parents let alone the implication that helmets are worthless.
Your headline says “Not wearing helmet” while the story says he was wearing a helmet and has a picture of it.

The boy whom needs a speedy recovery Moshe Yehudala was wearing a helmet. That was yesterday 15 SEPT, In today’s accident 16 SEPT the boy-chur was not wearing a helmet. You need to read the whole article.�

By the way in Passaic County where I reside the yeshiva boys never ever dare to ride their bicycles at cross walks. At Brook its nice to see a whole bunch of them getting off and crossing their bicycles. It kinda resembles a long snake of wheels merrily crossing the street. They have some things to fix too. I wish they wouldn’t come barreling down Passaic Ave at I dunno, say anywhere between 10-15 mph when I’m walking to the train. They should use a horn or other device to alert pedestrians.�
