The calls for assistance came in to MDA and Israel Police as neighbors saw smoke emanating from the sixth-floor apartment. Shalom Klein of ZAKA, who was on the scene, explained to Channel 2 News that he was two minutes away when the call came in and he went in with firefighters. �The scene was very difficult and I am with ZAKA for a number of years but seeing the four children near their mother, all lifeless, was a most difficult scene�.

Channel 2 reports that there were in the apartment for �hours� before help was summoned, not explaining how this transpired, but the children apparently were R�L burned to death. No additional details are being reported at this time but evidence on the scene is supporting theories of a murder/suicide.
