  1. can someone please tell me what a bochur is doing up at 3:15AM walking around. he should be in bed sleeping. who is watching these kids.

  2. This is the first official weekend of the summer & already we’re hearing of serious accidents. DRIVERS: be careful! Drive slowly, even in the daytime. PEDESTRIANS: Keep to single file, FACING oncoming traffic & as far against the hedges as possible. Wear reflective vests at night. EVERYONE: LOCK THE POOLS & WATCH YOUR CHILDREN. It’s easy to get involved in chatting even when you’re with your children in the pool area & to miss a little one slipping under the water. Be vigilant at all times!

I don’t want to be busy with taharos any more, chas v’sholom. You have no idea what I have dealt with in summers past.

  3. #1, it’s camp and the boy is 19. Didn’t you ever go to camp at that age? It’s been a long time since my camp days, but a 19 year old walking around at that hour sounds familiar. I’d like to know why the driver didn’t see the boy. How fast was he going in camp grounds tht the boy didn’t hear the car and go out of it’s way.

  4. #1, this bochur is in need of a refuah. It’s the wrong time to discuss what he was “supposed to be doing” at that hour.

  5. the time of a tragedy is not the time to be pointing fingers . its to learn from mistakes like following driving laws in the country. an accidnet cant happen at 300 am or 2 pm – there is no way to know if it would have happened if it was light. as a side point, the bungallows should light their parking lots to prevent night accident.s

  6. Not to point any fingers, but maybe we need to realize, that the summer comes and we often let our guard down somewhat. Not always are we on our best “behavior”. There is way more going on under the surface than anyone will readily admit to (ve’hamey’vin ya’vin).

C”V we drive Hashem away from our lives and neighborhoods and we are left unprotected.

Please explain why is it wrong to get up to learn with a chavrusa starting at 4:00am like most chasidishe bucherem do. Before they start learning you go to the mikvah and shower. Getting up at 3:15am is very normal. So unless you are the “soton” who looks allways to be “mekatreg” on klal yosroel even when they do something so beutiful like this. Then I don’t expect an answer from you.
