Mumbai 2010: An Event You Don’t Want To Miss

In November 2008 our hearts were shattered by the atrocities committed against our Jewish brethren in Mumbai, India. We watched helplessly as the horror unfolded, hoping against hope while praying for a miraculous ending. After learning the final fate of the hostages, we cried until our tears went dry. Our sole consolation lay in the knowledge that this was not the end; that no-one and nothing will ever break the spirit of Klal Yisroel.

Mumbai 2010:  Two years on, a yungerman uproots his family from the luxuries of a New York life and permanently relocates to Mumbai to re-establish Yiddishkeit there. He single-handedly spearheads a campaign to show the world that Klal Yisroel will not be defeated.

Please join the Flatbush Community as we are honored to host the new Jewish emissary to Mumbai, Rabbi Chanoch Gechtman, at a special Mumbai Memorial Dinner. This event will be held at the Young Israel of Avenue K (Corner of Avenue K and East 29th Street) on Tuesday, November 9, 2010, 2 Kislev 5771 at 7:30 PM in the evening. Your attendance and support is extremely important as it shows him and the world that he does not stand alone.
