The Obama administration is planning to explicitly call for Syrian President Bashar Assad to step down in coming days, two administration officials told FoxNews.
The State Department signaled for the first time that American efforts to engage the Syrian government are finally over. The White House is expected to lay out the tougher line by the end of this week, possibly on Thursday.
The administration will first consult with the United Nations Security Council as the Treasury Department prepares a new set of sanctions aimed at Assad’s family and his government, the officials told FoxNews.

If you could see through your racist blinders for a nanosecond, you will see that he is not the only world leader calling for Assad’s ouster.
Oh, like Assad will say, “of course, Mr.President, whatever you say”. Why on earth does he think anyone will listen to him this time? All he does is damage. Then we need damage control.

2. Racist blinders??? I would call you a few words too but its the day after Tisha B’Av & I am trying to refrain from such talk for a few days. It would however be sufficient to say that if you weren’t steeped in the kool aid flavor of liberalism you would see the same thing. That being said, I don’t care if he is green, yellow, purple, orange, magenta,black, or even zebra, it is his Redness, his socialist stance, that I utterly despise.
While assad is butcher he at least is showing leadership, maybe he should ask for Obama to step down for his sheepish lack of backbone and leadership in the face of a failing country.
