A man was arrested in Vienna after he planted a backpack filled with explosives and nails in a street near the US embassy to Austria. The suspect, a man with Bosnian background living outside Vienna, suddenly dropped the bag filled with hand grenades and other explosives in Pfluggasse in Vienna’s 9th district. Before that he had visited the US-embassy in nearby Boltzmanngasse, police said.
