A plainclothes cop fired a single shot at a gun-toting hood in Brooklyn Wednesday night in the seventh confrontation between officers and armed suspects in the past two days, police said.
As two members of the NYPD anti-crime unit approached a couple of men outside the Lindsay Park housing complex in East Williamsburg at 8:30 p.m., one of the suspects pulled a 9-mm. pistol, cops said.
One officer fired a round, and the suspects ran into the housing complex. Cops nabbed the men as they attempted to escape out a back door, police said.
No one was injured, but the two officers were treated for trauma at the Wyckoff Heights Medical Center and released.
