According to members of Turkey’s Jewish community, arsonists on Sunday targeted a shul in the city of Bursa, in the northwest area of Turkey. There were no injuries Baruch Hashem. The extent of the damage is not known at the time of this report.

The shul is not operational since the Bursa Jewish community dwindled but members of the Jewish community, who have been living in fear since Operation Cast Lead; point out this is the first attack since the Israeli counter-terror offensive, which resulted in a deterioration in relations between Turkey and Israel.
