According to a Channel 10 report, an Israeli Dvora patrol boat on Friday mistakenly passed its patrol boundary, entering 700 meters meters into the territorial waters of an unnamed Arab country.
As a result of the incident during these particularly tense times, the boats commander was sent to military prison for a week, apparently because of the navigational error that led to error.
The IDF Spokespersons Office declined to name the country involved, indicating it appears the incident was undetected by that country.

Prison for a week for a navigational error? Something doesnt sound right. Apropriate response should have been some form of discipline/suspension/demotion, not prison.
It’s an extremely serious error.
