Goat Arrested For Violating Closed Military Zone At Ramat Migron

In Sunday’s (9 Cheshvan) cat-and-mouse between activists and police at Ramat Migron, police removed those present who were in violation of the area’s closed military zone designation. This in itself was not particularly newsworthy, but what did bring the story to the media was the arrest of the goat present, which was also in violation of the closed military zone designation.

Three minors and one adult were detained by authorities, and two were later released after being served with an order prohibiting their return to the location. The other two were remanded and it appears police will request more stringent restrictions to accompany their release.

As for the goat, authorities refused to release it until they received assurances from the others that it would not return to the outpost. Someone actually had to sign that the goat would not return to the area.

  1. How many pairs of handcuffs did they use? Did they give the goat its rights? Which lawyer will be representing it in court?
    Such stupidity!
