Thursday Morning News Briefs From Eretz Yisrael


WEDNESDAY

19:08: Two Kassam rockets landed in the Eshkol Regional Council district. No injuries were reported.

19:13: An Israeli male was stabbed and moderately injured by an Arab male near the entrance to Tirat HaCarmel. The assailant fled the scene. The incident may have been criminal in nature and not a terror attack. No additional information is available.

22:59: Rocket fired from Gaza. Impact reported to be in the S’dot HaNegev region. No injuries reported.

THURSDAY

IDF soldiers taking part in counter-terrorism operations throughout Yehuda and Shomron apprehended three suspects during the night.

07:00: The air force during the night bombed terrorist objectives in Gaza in retaliation for rocket attacks on Wednesday.

** Six suspects were arrested on suspicion of involvement in ‘price tag’ terror attacks against IDF equipment.

09:00: Rock-throwing attacks against Israeli motorists in Shomron in the area of Yishuv Rechalim. No injuries reported.

** The Histadrut National Labor Federation has turned to the National Labor Court seeking the green light for a national labor strike after the previous strike, cut short by the court, and the subsequent labor negotiations, failed to reach agreement.
