Court Extends House Arrest Of Senior Peleg Officials

A court on Monday, 5 Iyar, accepted the request from police in part pertaining to Peleg defendants who are currently under house arrest. Police requested a 15-day extension of the house arrest order for HaPeles Editor-in-Chief Nati Grossman and CEO Shmulik Elyashiv as well as activists Avraham Trager and Chaim Yavrov.

The court agreed to extend the house arrest of all four, but only until Thursday, 8 Iyar. Considerably less than requested by police.

The four are primary suspects in the police case alleging they tried to extort large companies in the hope they would advertise in the HaPeles newspaper.
