Magen David Adom received the call at 1:33AM on Monday, 18 Sivan for a struck pedestrian on Route 34 near Nir Junction in the direction of Yad Mordechai. When EMTs and paramedics arrived, they found a 30-year-old male in traumatic cardiac arrest.

They attempted to resuscitate him but he was pronounced dead on the scene R�L. He was carrying his tallis and tefilin when he was struck.
