  1. Interesting. He writes a letter but brings zero mare mekomot. In my opinion the letter is worthless and just another yes man who joins the charedi voice. As the Gemara in bava batra says רבותא למיחשב גברי . I wonder how Hashem feels about his Rabbis who have abandoned his Mikdash to animals who are metameh it daily. We receive a gift in 1967 and they say no thank you, please give it to the Arabs. According to the Rambam Rabbi akiva eiger chasam sofer and Rabbenu yechial baal hatosfot, the sefer hachinuch, maharitz chayut, and on and on we can bring a korban pesach today and by not bringing its a chiyuv kares; yet none of these Rabbis seem to care. If a Mikdash came down from the heavens would they care then?

  2. You’re right. Korban Pesach is considered a korban tzibur and when rov of the tzibur is tomei, tumah hutra betzibur, so we could theoretically bring a korban pesach – IF we knew exactly the mokom hamizbeach, and IF we knew for sure that we had techeles for bigdei kehuna.

But what does that have to do with just going for a walk in the mokom hamikdash? What’s the heter for that?

  3. Hey Abba- you wrote, “He writes a letter but brings zero mare mekomot. In my opinion the letter is worthless”
At the top of the artice, Rabi Simcha Kook did cite the Late Chief Rabbi AY Kook’s published proclamation. Is the saintly Rav AY Kook ZL not a 100% credible halachic authority?
