Ari Harow served in a number of positions ranging from Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu’s advisor on foreign relations, director of American Friends of Likud, and the prime minister bureau chief. In addition to the later, he was known to be one of the closest persons in Mr. Netanyahu’s inner circle, perhaps his closest confidant.

Harow also worked in businesses when taking a hiatus from political life and from 2010 to 2014, he established Strategic Global and H3 Global, companies that he announced were sold to avoid conflicts of interest when he assumed the post of the prime minister’s bureau chief. However, a probe revealed the alleged sale was fictitious and Harow was exploiting his senior position to advice H3 Global, leading to his resignation. A number of months ago, he was indicted on numerous charges including money laundering and fraud.

Harow is believed to know everything about the inner workings of the Prime Minister’s Office, Mr. Netanyahu’s contacts, dealings and trips, and at present, he is negotiating with the prosecution to possibly become a state witness against the prime minister in investigations against him.
