In an extraordinary and emotional encounter that took place Wednesday 10 Av at the Kosel, Shakib Shanan, the father of Kamil, and Afif Sethawi, the father of the police officers who were killed while on duty at Har Habayis met with Police Commissioner Roni Alshich, Deputy Commissioner Yoram Halevi, Commander of the David Region, Commander Doron Turgeman, and commanders and police of the David District, including officers of the Holy Places Unit.

Police Chief Alsheich said, “We have responsibility for the lives of our policemen, we have a responsibility for the lives of citizens and tourists who visit Har Habayis, and therefore we will do our best and we can rely on the commanders. I have seen since the attack understanding and wisdom of the commanders, the leadership and the determination, and we have someone to rely on”.
