The attached photo shows a pashkavil against Elad Mayor Yisrael Porush, who is accused to planning to be the first chareidi city with a dog park. The public notice warns that such an area will become a hangout for youths who are ‘sitting on the fence’ and it is likely to take them even further in the wrong direction. The matter of a chareidi city questions who has a dog? And how many are there?
The flyer continues, promising to step up the opposition to the canine park, signed “Concerned citizens”.
When questioned about the park, City Hall stated there is no dog park planned and no explanation is given regarding the flyer.
