PHOTOS: Ambulance From New Square Hatzolah Now Parked In Ukraine At Tziyun Of Rav Nachman

An impressive ceremony took place to dedicate a new ambulance to be stationed at the tziyun of Rav Nachman ZY”L, towards saving lives in Ukraine.

The ambulance was donated by Hatzoloh of New Square ​​New York with the help of the chairman of United Hatzalah Ukraine Rabbi Hillel Cohen, and funded by philanthropist Rabbi Eliezer Kastenbaum of the United States.

During the ceremony, the graduation ceremony of the Emergency Medicine Technicians (EMT) course was completed, where the new graduates joined the rescue network of in order to provide a quick medical response to emergency situations even near Rabbi Nachman.

The ceremony was attended by: Rabbi Yaakov Gan, who serves as rov of Breslov Uman, Executive Director of United Hatzalah Moshe Teitelbaum, Vice President of United Hatzalah Eli Pollak, Deputy Director-General of United Hatzalah Lazar Heiman, Rabbi Hillel Cohen Chairman of United Hatzalah Ukraine, and local leaders and chassidim living in the area.

In any medical emergency in Ukraine, one may dial 063-800-1221, a local number in Ukraine, and this will activate United Hatzalah’s response.

United Hatzalah Executive Director Moshe Teitelbaum said: “The life-saving activity of United Hatzalah is also expanding in Ukraine. The new ambulance will help save lives and provide medical treatment throughout the year for tens of thousands of mispallalim who visit the tziyun.”
