Sell Your Chametz ‘Online’ To The Chief Rabbinate Of Israel

As the world spends more time online with each passing year, we seem to seek out services that meet our needs without having to go out for them as was once the case.

The Chief Rabbinate of Israel this year is joining the online community. While it has maintained a website, this year, one will be able to sell one’s chametz online from any place in the world.

One may sell one’s chametz online until erev Pesach, 13 Nissan, at noon.

It is pointed out that the online sale is intended for those unable to sell their chametz directly to a rav.

There is no charge for the service.

  1. IT IS NOT: “To The Chief Rabbinate Of Israel” but rather “THROUGH The Chief Rabbinate Of Israel”

No rabbi buys your chametz, rather he becomes your agent to sell it to a goy.

  2. So the heilege Chief Rabbonim of EY want yidden to use the internet where a single misplaced keystrok can take them to a website full of pritzus instead of the chometz sale website?? Gevalt!!!
