Meah Shearim Burglar Caught In The Act


A focused activity by the police detectives led to the seizure of a suspect who broke into an office building in the Meah Shearim neighborhood of Jerusalem.

On Wednesday night, the eve of 13 Nissan, in a focused operation of the police detectives in the Meah Shearim, the detectives noticed a suspicious person walking suspiciously around offices. A short while later, he broke in and police arrested him, and he was in possession of burglary tools.

The burglar broke into the offices of the Vaad Rabbonim.

The suspect, a male PA (Palestinian Authority) resident in his 40s, was arrested and brought for questioning at the Lev Ha’ir station on suspicion of possessing burglary tools, illegal entry into Israel, and breaking into the offices. The suspect’s remand was extended to April 1st during the arraignment hearing.
