Argument Leads To Summoning Police To Jerusalem’s Biblical Zoo

On Wednesday night, the eve of 27 Nissan, police were summoned to the Biblical Zoo following a report received from a local worker about a dispute during which one of the workers threatened another worker.

Police arrived shortly after, located the suspect and arrested him. During a search of his body, they were surprised to discover that he was holding two ducklings belonging to the zoo in his pocket, which they believe he was planning to leave with. The police also seized an unspecified quantity of marijuana.

The suspect, a 21-year-old resident of the eastern capital, was brought to Moriah station for questioning on suspicion of theft, threats and possession and use of drugs. The suspect explained the pot was for personnel consumption and not for sale. Police reported Thursday morning he was scheduled for arraignment later in the day.
