PHOTOS: Interior Minister Deri Briefed On Preparations For Lag B’Omer In Meron

Interior Minister Aryeh Deri on Thursday, 27 Nissan, conducted a briefing to address ongoing preparations for Lag B’Omer in Meron.

The briefing was held in the Meron Galil Regional Council in the presence of Deri, Deputy Minister Itzik Cohen, MK (Shas) Dan Saida, Ministry of Religious Services Director-General Flus, Yosef Schwinger, Police traffic enforcement officials and local representatives.

The Lag B’Omer event is the single largest gathering of Jews anywhere in the world, bringing hundreds of thousands to the tziyun of the Rashbi.
