B’chasdei Hashem, border police on Tuesday, 3 Elul, found two pipe bombs that were hurled into the Kever Rochel complex. The bombs did not explode, and police bomb squad technicians saw to their save removal. As a result of the incident, the complex was shut down for a period of time.

A visitor who parked in the parking lot up the hill from the holy site saw something that he thought was suspicious, and called border police, possibly averting a disaster, especially in Elul, when so many more people visit daily to be mispallel.
