Prosecution Expected To Close the Case Against Rabbi Yeshayahu Haber Of Matnas Chaim

The prosecution is expected to announce the closing of the case against Rabbi Yeshayahu Haber, chairman of the organization “Gift of Life” (Matnas Chaim), reported journalist Baruch Kra.

Rabbi Haber was arrested a year ago on suspicion of organ trafficking and the promotion of patients in line for transplants in exchange for donations to the organization he founded.

Rabbi Haber’s organization, “The Gift of Life,” has been working for years in the community requiring kidney transplants, and has even revolutionized transplantation in Israel, and has shortened the number of annual transplants and led to a three-fold increase in the number of annual transplants, data from the National Transplant Center under the Ministry of Health shows.

About a year ago, Rabbi Haber was taken for interrogation along with his wife, and his arrest angered many Israelis who were exposed to his organization’s work, which promotes kidney donation and persuades hundreds of special people to donate their kidneys to patients who do not know and thus save many lives.

It should be noted that despite the investigation, it seems that Rabbi Haber won a wall-to-wall consensus when political figures and senior journalists also praised his welcome activities and determined that this was a plot and persecution against an innocent person who assists persons in need.

Now, it turns out that Baruch Hashem, the suspicion was in vain and the case against him is expected to be closed.
