Israeli Arab Sentenced in Terror Plot

court hammer1.jpgTaibeh resident Dubian Natzirat was sentenced to nine years in prison and two years probation for his part in a planned terror attack against Israel Railways at the Netanya station.

Two other Taibeh residents, Mujihad Dukan and Amin Zwiti were sentenced to 15 and 7 years imprisonment in a plea bargain agreement for their part in the conspiracy.

The three planned to place three explosive devices on the tracks in the train station and detonate them after the train arrived — using cellular telephone detonators.

The planned attack was foiled on the very day it was to be carried out due to the successful intelligence information obtained by GSS (General Security Service/ Shin Bet) agents.
