Israel Defense Forces Soldiers arrested two terrorists who attempted to carry out a terror attack against IDF soldiers near the Palestinian city of Halhul, located between Gush Etzion and Hebron on Tuesday night.

According to reports in the Israeli media, two suspects drove by soldiers who were stationed in the area near the city and opened fire. Baruch Hashem, no one was injured in the attack. Following a chase of the suspects, IDF forces apprehended them attempting to re-enter the town of Halhul. The suspects are being remanded for questioning.

Earlier in the day, Border Police officers stationed in Hebron at the Ma’arat Hamachpela prevented a stabbing attack when they apprehended a Palestinian man who had drawn a knife.
