PHOTOS: Possible Incendiary Balloon Found In Northern Israel

What appeared to be an incendiary balloon with a Palestinian flag attached landed in Moshav Mle’a (מלאה), in the Tanach District in Northern Israel on Tuesday morning. Police were summoned, and the bomb squad was called to address the object, towards determining if it is an incendiary device or not. B’chasdei Hashem, in this case it was determined to be just a flag, without explosives attached to it.

The Israel Police call on the public to exercise extreme caution with regard to such suspicious objects – kites and balloons, which may contain explosives and/or flammable materials that may endanger public safety. Should one come across such an object, one should distance oneself from it and call police immediately.
