Knesset Coalition Leader Questioned By Israel Police’s Major Crimes Unit Again


Agents from the Lahav 443 Major Crimes Unit of Israel Police have once again questioned Knesset coalition chairman MK (Likud) David Bitan in connection to alleged bribery pertaining in the amount of over a half million shekels pertaining to his tenure as head of the Rishon L’Tzion Planning & Building Committee.

Bitan continues to maintain his innocence despite having been questioned close to ten times as police build its case against him.

In the past, Bitan took advantage of his right to remain silent, and it is not known if he is cooperating with investigators at this time.
