The IDF’s Civil Administration operated in the Southern Hebron Hills area on Wednesday, in an area designated as ‘C’ under the Oslo Agreements, which means under total and exclusive Israeli control.

Agents of the Civil Administration addressed a large building that was erected during this past Shabbos close to Route 60, the main area road, between Shama and Otniel.

The building type is a familiar one, used as classrooms in similar structures assembled by the PA (Palestinian Authority) with European Union backing and funding. The same building has been seen in other areas during recent years, and in this case, it was dismantled.

The illegal structure, which represents another PA and EU effort to create facts on the ground, was discovered by area officials on motzei Shabbos, and a report was filed immediately with the Civil Administration and agents arrived on Wednesday to dismantle it.
